JEE Main 2027 Session 1 Application Form Out: Apply by 22 November, Exam 20–28 January

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released a public notice dated 24 October 2026 inviting online applications for the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2027, Session 1. JEE Main 2027 will be held in two sessions — January 2027 and April 2027. Paper 1 is for B.E./B.Tech admission in NITs, IIITs and other centrally funded institutions and also decides eligibility for JEE (Advanced); Paper 2A is for B.Arch and Paper 2B for B.Planning.

राष्ट्रीय परीक्षा एजेंसी (NTA) ने 24 अक्टूबर 2026 की सार्वजनिक सूचना जारी कर संयुक्त प्रवेश परीक्षा (मुख्य) 2027 सत्र 1 के लिए ऑनलाइन आवेदन आमंत्रित किए हैं। JEE Main 2027 दो सत्रों में होगी — जनवरी 2027 और अप्रैल 2027। पेपर 1 से NIT, IIIT और अन्य केंद्रीय संस्थानों में B.E./B.Tech में प्रवेश मिलता है और यही JEE (Advanced) की पात्रता भी तय करता है; पेपर 2A B.Arch और पेपर 2B B.Planning के लिए है।

Exam Pattern and Timing / परीक्षा पैटर्न और समय

The exam is computer based (except the B.Arch drawing test, which is on paper). Paper 1 has 75 questions across Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, each subject having an MCQ section and a numerical-answer section, with negative marking in both. The first shift runs 9:00 AM–12:00 noon and the second 3:00 PM–6:00 PM; candidates taking both B.Arch and B.Planning get 3 hours 30 minutes. The exam will be offered in 13 languages, including Hindi and English.

परीक्षा कंप्यूटर आधारित होगी (B.Arch का ड्रॉइंग टेस्ट कागज़ पर होगा)। पेपर 1 में गणित, भौतिकी और रसायन से कुल 75 प्रश्न होंगे; हर विषय में एक बहुविकल्पीय और एक संख्यात्मक उत्तर वाला खंड होगा, और दोनों में गलत उत्तर पर अंक कटेंगे। पहली पाली सुबह 9 से दोपहर 12 बजे और दूसरी पाली दोपहर 3 से शाम 6 बजे तक होगी; B.Arch और B.Planning दोनों देने वालों को 3 घंटे 30 मिनट मिलेंगे। परीक्षा हिंदी और अंग्रेज़ी समेत 13 भाषाओं में होगी।

Eligibility / पात्रता

There is no age limit. Students who passed Class 12 (or equivalent) in 2025 or 2026, or who are appearing in 2027, can apply. Check the Information Bulletin for subject requirements and institute-level criteria.

How to Apply / आवेदन कैसे करें

1. Open jeemain.nta.nic.in and click the JEE (Main) 2027 Session 1 application link. / jeemain.nta.nic.in खोलें और JEE (Main) 2027 सत्र 1 आवेदन लिंक पर क्लिक करें।
2. Register with your own or a parent’s mobile number and email. / अपने या माता-पिता के मोबाइल नंबर और ईमेल से पंजीकरण करें।
3. Fill in the form, choose papers and exam cities, and upload photo and signature. / फॉर्म भरें, पेपर और परीक्षा शहर चुनें, फोटो और हस्ताक्षर अपलोड करें।
4. Pay the fee online and download the confirmation page. / शुल्क ऑनलाइन जमा करें और कन्फर्मेशन पेज डाउनलोड करें।

Important Notes / महत्वपूर्ण बातें
